TRAINING GUIDELINES

Training is a learning opportunity designed as a supportive service for adult volunteers. Training will help adults understand and implement the Girl Scout program. All adults functioning in a leadership capacity are required to take training.

For added convenience to volunteers we are offering some training sessions on the website. More sessions will be available next year. Scroll to the end of this page for training's available.

Participation in training is open to all adult volunteers. Troop committee members and parents are encouraged to attend training. The more knowledgeable these support individuals are, the easier the leader's job will be. Basic Leader Training will be completed within 6 months after your appointment.

Training is educational, informative, and fun. Plan to attend as many as you can. Training is the key to successful leadership!
